Its been a long time since I have last updated this blog and let you guys know what we have been up too.

Jess and I are both enjoying our jobs; we are managing to save more money now that we own our own house than when we were renting which is terrific.

We moved into our new house 2 months ago; had a few plumbing problems but that is all fixed now, still need to get the pipes under the bathroom insulated before it starts to get really cold but that can be done in the next couple of weeks.

Our little quaker parrot ’sparky’ has done well settling into our new house and lives in a cage next to our tv, he currently says the following words.

- Peek a boo (When we cover our faces with our hands and then let go of our face)
- stepup
- oh

He also laughs.

2 weeks ago Jess brought home a little kitten who she named Emma; Emma is a little cream calico tabby; the kitten and sparky get on just fine when we are around and when we are at work Emma is locked up in the spare room where she has her food, water, litter box and lots of toys.
