Well here we are in the USA; here is a brief run down on what has happenend so far.

Got on the plane in dunedin after saying goodbye to everyone there; we landed in christchurch and got the rest of our bags before flying to auckland.

we were almost late for our flight in auckland because the plane times were so close together and the terminals so far apart; we made it anyways but were the last people on the plane.

The flight to Los Angeles was long and bumpy, we have never felt turbulance like it; at one point in the flight we were all sleeping with the safety belts off and everyone was flung about 2 or 3 feet into the air.

We arrived at LA and went through the Immigrations people who approved my greencard but took too long.

The flight to reno was short and sweet and one of Jess’s friends was waiting for us there to take us to Jesses house to suprise her mom but little did Jess know but I had organised a suprise party for jess.

the last few days have been really really hot with no clouds in the sky but last night there was a storm with thunder and lightning; the clouds are still sticking around but look like they will disapear today.

We have been mucking around reno doing things like 4W driving in the desert and in the hills with a friends SUV, going for walks, visiting the casinos (I havent won hardly any money so it is a waste of time) ect.

We went to the movies yesterday, Jess, Monica and Lynette went to see “Dreamer” and Dave and I went to see the movie “Doom”

Doom kicks butt.

Yesterday we also sorted out car insurance for our car and today we are registering it and getting it smog checked (WOF)
we are also getting the electronics sorted since the audio and cigarette lighter doesnt work.
